Guadeloupe

June 1997

The four of us (Andy, Maria, Christopher and Diana) made this trip with Curtis Collins and his friend of the moment, Kathleen.  We flew to Pointe-a-Pitre from Philadelphia.   Curtis and Kathleen flew in from New Hampshire and Texas, respectively.  The route we followed is shown in red on the chart.  You can visit our ports of call by rolling your cursor across the map to Marie Galante, Dominica and Iles de Saintes and clicking when you see the hand.

We chatered from SunSail.  Some of the crew are lounging on the day before setting off to Marie Galante.

Curtis at the helm.  on the way to Marie Galante both Maria and Kathleen were seasick.   Kathleen was so bad that she begged us to throw her overboard and end it all.

Although she didn't get as sick as the big girls, it took Diana a few days to get her sea legs.
