The Garden of Eden

Back to February

A driftwood sculpture garden by one of the local residents.   The owner, quite old, told me that he has been putting this together for 30 years.   During that time is neighbors often asked him why bother.  He uses the cloud formations as his muse, then finds the driftwood on the beaches or out in the brush in the interior.  In his yard he has papaya, coconut and sapodilla trees.  He and the goat owner up the street from him are the only two that I have seen actively cultivating food in their yards.

Anyway, below each picture I have written what I see in the sculptures.  Feast your eyes and imagine what is in the oieces of wood.
